Reviews
From the Learners Themselves
"I had tried learning Python from YouTube before and kept losing track of where I was going. The Programming track here is different — there is a clear path and someone actually reads what you write. By module 3 I had a better sense of data structures than I did after months of self-study."

"The ML project course was genuinely hard — I want to be honest about that. But Aroon's code reviews were worth it. He pointed out things about how I was handling missing values that I would not have caught on my own. The project I built in the final module is something I actually understand end to end."

"I appreciated that they told me upfront how much time the advanced track would take. I almost did not enrol because the 12–18 hours estimate seemed like a lot. But having that information meant I could plan properly, and I ended up finishing ahead of schedule. The peer collaboration sessions were unexpectedly useful."

"I came in knowing some SQL and basic statistics. The programming track gave me the Python and Pandas side I was missing. The exercises are not toy problems — the datasets have issues you have to actually deal with. Support was quick when I got stuck on a Pandas grouping question."

"I have a background in software development but no ML experience. The project course was the right level for me — challenging but followable. One thing I want to mention: the feedback is specific. Not 'good work', but 'your feature scaling step should happen after the train-test split, here is why'. That level of detail matters."

"The advanced track pushed me in ways I did not expect. The system design thinking required is quite different from just building models. The architecture module in particular took me several attempts to work through properly. But that difficulty was the point — I came out with a portfolio piece I feel confident discussing."

Three Learner Journeys
What the experience actually looked like from start to finish — for learners at different starting points.
Building from Zero: Nattaporn's Programming Track
8 weeks · Programming for AI Track · Bangkok
Challenge
Nattaporn had tried online tutorials multiple times without building anything consistent. No programming background, no clear sense of where to start with data or AI.
Process
Started with the Programming for AI Track. Worked through modules at around 7 hours per week. Received feedback on exercises weekly. Struggled most with Pandas indexing — mentor provided additional worked examples.
Outcome
Completed the track with a starter portfolio of four reviewed projects. Enrolled in the ML course one month later. Now partway through the ML project course.
From Developer to ML Practitioner: Kritchai's ML Course
12 weeks · Machine Learning Project Course · Phuket
Challenge
Kritchai had four years of backend development experience and could write Python, but had never worked with ML. Wanted to move from building APIs to building models — but lacked a structured path.
Process
Enrolled in the ML Project Course, skipping the beginner track. Worked through classification, regression, and a basic NLP project. Required mentor correction on data preprocessing order in week 4 — a common mistake that the code review caught early.
Outcome
Three completed projects with written mentor reviews. One project — a churn prediction model — became part of his professional portfolio. He went on to the Advanced Systems Track six months later.
System-Level Thinking: Pranida's Advanced Track
16 weeks · Advanced AI Systems Track · Chiang Rai
Challenge
Pranida had completed the ML course at Codexis and had practical ML experience. Wanted to move beyond single-model projects into thinking about AI at the system and architecture level.
Process
The architecture module was the hardest part — took three iterations of one design exercise to satisfy mentor review. Peer collaboration sessions with two other learners in the cohort added perspectives she found genuinely useful.
Outcome
Produced a system design portfolio covering three distinct AI architectures. Describes the track as the most demanding and the most useful thing she had done in her technical development in two years.
