1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your preferences or whether you have previously dismissed a notice — and can make the experience more consistent on return visits.

2. Cookie Types We Use

Essential cookies — always active. These are required for basic site operations such as maintaining your session when you log in, processing forms securely, and remembering your cookie consent choice. You cannot disable essential cookies without preventing the site from working.

Analytics cookies — optional. These help us understand how visitors use the site by collecting anonymised data on pages visited, session duration, and navigation paths. We use this to improve the site and course content. These are only set if you consent.

Marketing cookies — optional. These may be used to show relevant content or measure the effectiveness of promotional activity. They are only set with your consent.

Preference cookies — optional. These remember settings such as your preferred display or language choices. They are only set with your consent.

3. Third-Party Cookies

If you consent to analytics cookies, we may use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to collect anonymised usage data. Google's data practices are governed by their own privacy policy. We do not control third-party cookies directly.

We do not currently use social media tracking pixels or advertising network cookies by default.

4. Cookie Duration

  • Session cookies: deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used for login sessions and form security.
  • Persistent cookies: stored for a set period. Our cookie consent preference is stored for 12 months. Analytics cookies typically expire after 13–26 months.

Use the controls below to manage which optional cookies you allow. Essential cookies cannot be disabled. Your choices are saved to your browser and will apply each time you visit.

6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also manage or delete cookies directly through your browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies may prevent some parts of the site from working correctly.

  1. Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner and select Settings.
  2. Go to Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  3. Choose your preferred setting, or use See all site data and permissions to manage specific sites.
  4. To delete existing cookies, select Clear browsing data and check Cookies and other site data.

  2. Go to Privacy & Security.
  3. Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose your level or customise individual settings.
  4. To delete cookies, scroll to Cookies and Site Data and click Clear Data.
  1. Click Safari in the top menu bar and select Settings (or Preferences).
  2. Go to the Privacy tab.
  3. Adjust the Website tracking and Block all cookies settings as preferred.
  4. To delete existing cookies, click Manage Website Data and remove the relevant entries.

  3. Configure your preferences or manage specific site exceptions.
  4. To clear cookies, go to Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data.
  1. On iOS Safari: go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security to manage cookie settings.
  2. On Android Chrome: tap the three-dot menu → Settings → Site settings → Cookies.
  3. Other mobile browsers have similar settings, usually under Privacy or Site permissions in the app settings menu.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to withdraw or change your cookie consent at any time using the controls in Section 5 above, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent for analytics or marketing cookies will not affect any data already collected.

Disabling essential cookies will affect core site functionality, including login and form submission.
